About the games
Bagh-Chal: tigers and goats
Bagh-Chal (बाघचाल, "moving tigers") is Nepal's best-known board game. One side has four tigers that capture by jumping; the other has twenty goats that win by surrounding every tiger. Here you can play either side against the computer on easy, medium or hard, or pass the phone to a friend.
Langur Burja: the Dashain dice game
Langur Burja, also spelled Langur Purja and called Jhandi Munda, Jhanda Burja or Khor Khore, is the six-dice game that comes out at Dashain and Tihar gatherings. Each die shows a crown, flag, heart, spade, diamond and club. This version shakes real 3D dice in a bucket and counts the symbols for your table. There's no money involved.
